You Are So Loved—More Than You Can Imagine

There’s a joke that says, “Why does January have 187 days in it?” and honestly—it does feel that way sometimes!
January often gets a bad rap. We come off the excitement of the holidays, only to find ourselves in the thick of winter, huddled inside, trying to find our rhythm again. And just when we catch our breath—boom! Another holiday is around the corner. Cue the pressure to make memories and show love in all the ways.
And honestly? I love making my family feel loved. Seeing the joy on my children’s faces, watching my husband light up when he feels seen—there’s nothing like it. But I also remember the years when I was pouring out love with little left in return. The seasons when my babies were young, and I was simply surviving, moving from one day to the next.
In those years, I was so busy keeping my head above water that I forgot something deeply important: I was already loved—more than I could ever comprehend. More than I will ever love my family. More than life itself.
So, here’s your reminder, sweet friend:
The Creator of the Universe loves you. Not just in a distant, abstract way—but in a deeply personal, unshakable way. He sees you. He delights in you. He is crazy about you.
On the days you don’t feel loved—God loves you most.
On the days you don’t feel lovable—God loves you most.
On the days you forget to love yourself—God loves you most.
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." — Lamentations 3:22-23
And as you pour out love to those around you, don’t forget to care for your own heart, too. Your feelings, your growth, and your well-being matter, too.
