Grace-Filled Ministries and the Grace-Filled Postpartum Journal was born out of my own reflections on my three postpartum journeys. What started as an idea to write a book for new moms evolved as I realized that my own experience wasn’t as “rosy” as I had made it appear. I often told others I was “fine,” but looking back, I wonder if I truly was. I wish that I had something to track my mental health, self-care, prayers, gratitude, and struggles throughout that first year. Maybe it would have helped me be more aware of my needs, and advocate for myself more clearly.
With that in mind, I created this journal to help new, exhausted, and often isolated mothers track their well-being in a way that’s simple, clear, and doesn’t require much time—because, let’s face it, who has the time or mental energy with a newborn? My hope and prayer is that it provides mothers with a tool for reflection—something they can share or keep for future reflection of this short yet blessed season of their lives.
OUR VALUES
-
Grace
We desire everything that we do to be filled with grace. We strive to give women, specifically post-pregnancy mothers, permission to extend the same grace to themselves that God so generously lavishes upon all His children; especially mothers of babies.
-
Clarity
We desire for women to gain clarity on God's purpose for their lives and to fully embrace the unconditional and complete love of their Creator. Through journaling, scripture reading, prayer, and working with qualified professionals when needed, we hope to support them on this journey of self-discovery and healing.
-
Hope
We desire for women to be filled with true, lasting hope, knowing that God is the ultimate source of all hope. This life-giving hope is not dependent on circumstances but rooted in God's unchanging love and promises. Through prayer, self-reflection, and the support of a caring community, we believe women can connect with and embrace this hope.
